The Pine Hills community has a long, evolving story, and with a new online tool, residents can now explore it from the comfort of home in a new way.

Orange County’s Neighborhood Services Division has launched a new interactive Pine Hills Story Map, giving residents an engaging way to learn about Pine Hills' history, explore projects shaping the community today, and see what’s on the horizon for one of Orange County’s oldest and largest communities.

The Story Map highlights the evolution of the Pine Hills Neighborhood Improvement District (PHNID) and the work underway to support the community’s continued growth and revitalization.

For residents who have watched Pine Hills change over the years, some of that progress is already visible throughout the community. Recent investments include a new LYNX bus superstation, roadway and pedestrian safety improvements, beautification efforts, and completion of the county’s major Septic-to- Sewer conversion project, all helping reshape Pine Hills.

But the Story Map gives residents a chance to see the bigger picture. Through the interactive online resources, users can explore Pine Hills’ history, learn more about current initiatives and projects, and get a glimpse of future plans for the community. The Story Map also reinforces an important message: revitalization is not simply happening to Pine Hills; residents can help shape it.

As Orange County continues its investment in the Pine Hills Neighborhood Improvement District, residents can stay informed, understand what projects are being planned and completed, and provide input on the community’s future.

To explore the Pine Hills Story Map, visit the Orange County Neighborhood Services Division's online resource and take a closer look at the past, present, and future of Pine Hills.

The story of Pine Hills is still being written, and residents have a role in determining what comes next. To access the map visit
