Join the Pine Hills Community Council for the 2022 Hob Nob & Straw Poll, on Thursday, July 14, 2022, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the Central Florida Fairgrounds (Hall A) located at 4603 West Colonial Dr., Orlando, FL 32808.
This event is designed to help educate the community on making informed decisions at the ballot box by becoming more familiar with community issues and the candidates running for federal, state and local offices. It is a unique opportunity to express your solidarity with the community and mingle with the candidates. The last Hob Nob event held in 2018 had a record attendance with over 400 participants. This Pine Hills and Greater Orlando event will include a "Straw Poll" courtesy of the Orange County Supervisors of Elections Offices.
Participating candidates will be introduced and allowed two minutes to introduce themselves and the office they are running for. A moderator will be present to enforce time limits. The Pine Hills Community Council is providing this event as an opportunity to candidates running for public office to meet and inform constituents about their position on various policies that are important to directly affect the community.
General Admission to the Hob Nob will be $15.00. Corporate ticket packages of 10 are also available for $125 and can be purchased at the Pine Hills Community Council website at
